After breakfast, we checked out of the hotel and headed to Sinaia. ☕️🥞🥐 Even on the way there, I was blown away by the gorgeous views of the Carpathians — the kind that make you keep turning around just to take them in one more time. ⛰️ Sinaia truly lives up to its reputation as one of the most beautiful mountain destinations in Romania. 🙆♂️
What struck me most was Sinaia Monastery, founded in the 16th century by Mihail Cantacuzino. The place carries a special atmosphere — silence, spirituality, and history preserved through the centuries. The beautiful frescoes and the ancient architecture completely transported me back in time. ⛪️
After that, I got to see the famous Sinaia Casino — one of the town's iconic buildings. With its striking architecture and elegant style, it exudes a sense of luxury and aristocratic charm. I learned that wealthy aristocrats and famous personalities once gathered there, which makes the place even more fascinating. Even just from the outside, the building looks incredibly beautiful and adds a special charm to the town. 👌
Wandering around Sinaia was an absolute pleasure. 😯🫡🫶
