Today I visited Bran Castle and left completely enchanted. Big, old, and somehow strikingly beautiful β exactly how I'd pictured it, only in person the walls feel even more imposing.
Wandering through the rooms and narrow corridors, I picked up some fascinating bits about its history and, of course, the legends of Dracula. π― At one point I genuinely felt like I'd stepped into a movie scene, half-expecting someone to jump out from around the corner at any moment. ππ«£
But what struck me most was the view from the castle over the mountains surrounding Brasov. The atmosphere is mysterious, a little eerie, and that's exactly what makes it so captivating.
My tip: don't rush β stop for a minute by one of the windows and just take in the view outside. That's where half the magic lives. I'm so glad I had the chance to visit this place. π
