Guided by that saying, I set off for the village of Medven. 🚗 When I arrived, it felt as if time here had simply stopped — the stone houses, cobbled lanes, and old wooden gates whisper stories from another era. 🤷♂️
I wandered slowly, in no hurry to be anywhere. For a moment I even pictured Zahari Stoyanov living right here, surrounded by this stillness and unspoiled beauty. 😯
But the real destination of my trip was waiting just outside the village — the Blue Pool (Siniyat Vir). I followed a path winding through the forest, and before long I caught the soft murmur of water — a sure sign I was close. 🙆♂️
And then, suddenly, there it was. 🤗 Hidden among the greenery, a waterfall cascaded gently into a small pool. 😎 I sat down on a rock and simply stayed there — no thoughts, no rush, just the view in front of me. In that moment I realized how little it truly takes to feel completely at peace. 🤌
A little tip: wear sturdy shoes — the forest trail, and even the village cobblestones, are unforgiving to summer sandals.
Next stop? Well, I'll tell you soon… 😏
