Today the road took me to the village of Sennik — a small, quiet place tucked into the foothills of the Balkan Mountains. One of those villages where you can actually hear your own footsteps. 😮
I strolled down a peaceful street and kept walking until I reached the birthplace of the legendary Bulgarian wrestler Dan Kolov. I stepped inside the house-museum and lost myself among the photographs and personal belongings — objects that quietly tell the story of his life.
Afterwards, I headed to the church where he's buried. ✝️🙏 I stood there for a while and thought about something simple: a man who set out from a tiny Bulgarian village and made it to the whole world. 🫡
