The Wieliczka Salt Mine is one of those places you simply have to see. π It's one of the oldest salt mines in the world, and it's no surprise it's part of the UNESCO World Cultural and Natural Heritage List. π
The numbers alone are mind-blowing: 327 meters deep and 287 kilometers of tunnels. As you descend, it slowly dawns on you that everything around you is made of salt β the walls, the corridors, even the decorations.
An amazing experience that I'd recommend to anyone who finds themselves near Krakow. πΊοΈ
