Here stands the largest brick castle in the world π° β the majestic fortress of the Teutonic Order, built in the 13th century. As you wander through the massive walls, inner courtyards and vast halls, you're somehow effortlessly transported back in time β the spirit of the Middle Ages is literally everywhere. It's no surprise that the castle is part of the UNESCO World Heritage list. πββοΈ
Malbork impressed me with its tranquility, grandeur and rich history. π A tip from me: set aside more time than you've planned β the complex is huge and best explored slowly, with plenty of stops for photos.
I'm glad this is exactly where my journey through Poland came to an end β with one more beautiful place that will stay in my memories forever. π«‘
