Tirana — the capital that took me by surprise

I went to Tirana with zero expectations and came back with a phone full of photos and a permanent smile. Albania turned out to be that neighbor we all drive past, only to wonder later why we ever did. 😏

Tirana — the capital of Albania and the start of a journey through the nature and culture of a country that's so close to us, yet somehow still unfamiliar. 👈

And let me be honest: Albania exceeded all my expectations. I was captivated by its natural beauty, by the incredibly delicious food, and most of all by the friendly, smiling people I met at every turn. 😏

My advice — don't be in a hurry to pass it by on your way to the sea. Give it at least a few days, and it will pay you back double.
