Sadly, all good things must come to an end โ and so did my tour of Southern Italy. ๐๐คโค๏ธ The last stop on my trip was Taranto, just an hour and a half by train from Bari. ๐ Take my hand โ let me take you on a little virtual stroll. ๐ถโโ๏ธ
I wandered through the main sights of the old town: the 10th-century Aragonese Castle with its mighty fortress walls, the Romanesque-Gothic Church of San Domenico Maggiore from the 11th century, and the beautiful Baroque Cathedral of San Cataldo, its faรงade richly adorned with statues of saints. ๐
Every corner and every view here looks like it's straight off a postcard. ๐ธ๐ I'm more convinced with every trip to Italy โ my love for this country just keeps growing! ๐ฅฐ๐ And Taranto was simply the cherry on top. ๐
