Today I'm taking you on a virtual stroll through the little town of Petrópolis in Brazil. 👌 And the first thing that'll catch you off guard: the buildings here are all German-style! I'll admit, I did a double-take myself — yes, this really is Brazil. 🇧🇷

The area is absolutely stunning, and its biggest star is the emperor's leisure and pleasure house. Petrópolis is a municipality in southeastern Brazil, once the country retreat of Emperor Pedro I, after whom the town is named.

To this day, Petrópolis remains a summer getaway — thanks to the cool climate that offers a break from the brutal summer heat. It's also known as the "Imperial City," precisely because it was the emperor and his family's favorite summer residence. 😉 So if you can't stand the heat either, now you know where to head. 🙂
