🇳🇦 Namibia… here I come! 🌍✈️
Windhoek is the capital of Namibia – the country's largest city and its main political, economic, and cultural center.
We landed early in the morning, and within the first few minutes I felt that familiar feeling – I'm back in Africa! ❤️🌍 A new airport, a new city, a new country. And new stories waiting to unfold. 🤌
After a private transfer, we checked into our hotel in the Namibian capital, rested up a bit… and then set out to meet Windhoek for the first time. 🙆♂️
We wandered through the city center, and little by little I began to sense the character of this place – a blend of African atmosphere, European heritage, and the history of a relatively young nation.
We passed the iconic Christuskirche, saw the historic Tintenpalast, strolled through the Parliament Gardens, and made our way to the Independence Memorial Museum. No rushing, no checklists – just walking and taking it all in. 🚶♂️
That's how I gathered my first impressions of a country that, until now, had only been a dot on the map. And now I'm actually here. 🇳🇦
And this is just the beginning. 🤷♂️
