🇳🇦 AND NOW THE REAL NAMIBIA BEGINS! 🐆 🦓 🦒 🐗 🦡
Today we leave Windhoek behind us, and from this moment on, everything changes.
Ahead of us stand the mighty 4×4 jeeps that will be our home, our transport, and our best friend in the wild over the coming days. 🚙💨 A quick briefing, we split into crews, load up the luggage… and head southwest.
The asphalt gradually falls away behind us, and before my eyes the Africa I came here for begins to reveal itself. Vast. Wild. Raw. Real. 🌍
Our first stop is Swartfontein, where we settle into a local ranch inside the private Namib Spreethoogte nature reserve. Around 8000 hectares of wilderness — plains, rocky hills, and rugged mountain landscapes as far as the eye can see.
And then comes the moment I've been waiting for most…
🌅 MY FIRST SAFARI IN NAMIBIA!
We climb back into the jeeps and head out for the Sunset Game Drive. And somewhere out there, hidden from view, are the reserve's most elusive residents — the leopard and the honey badger. 🐆
Once again I'm in a place where you never know what's going to appear around the next bend. 😁🤷♂️ And that's exactly what I love most about Africa. 🌍
