Today I decided to break away from Kaunas for a few hours and hop over to Kedainiai – one of the oldest and best-preserved little towns in Lithuania. The drive was short, and the moment I arrived, I was greeted by that kind of calm big cities somehow forgot how to offer. 🤷♂️
I wandered along the cobbled streets, took in the historic buildings, and sat down to catch my breath on the cozy central square. Later I made my way to the banks of the Nevėžis River, where I stopped just to soak in the view – no plan, no rush.
Kedainiai isn't among Lithuania's most popular tourist spots, but that's exactly what makes it so special. If you're in Kaunas and craving a peaceful day away from the crowds – here's your idea. 👌 💛💚❤️
