Before visiting Kaunas, I knew very little about this Lithuanian city. Honestly, I expected a quiet spot for a half-day stroll β and that's exactly why the surprise was so pleasant.π―
From the moment I arrived, though, it was clear I'd underestimated Kaunas: beautiful architecture, lively streets, and a wonderfully relaxed atmosphere you sink into right away. I wandered through the center and checked out some of the most interesting sights, without rushing and without a list in hand β I just followed the streets.
What I loved most was the blend of history and modern life. That's exactly what makes Kaunas so appealing β you walk past old buildings while everyday, bustling city life carries on right beside them.πββοΈ
My advice: give the city more than just a few hours, and leave yourself time to simply sit somewhere in the center and watch the people go by. Add Kaunas to your bucket list β you won't be disappointed.π The city has so much to offer! ππβ€οΈ
