I landed late last night, and starting today my mission officially kicks off: 🇨🇭Switzerland, 🇨🇵France, and 🇩🇪Germany. There'll be plenty of photos again... 🤭 📸 🤣 But for now, here are some of my impressions of Basel. 😎
It's the third-largest city in Switzerland, but the most densely populated one — and hands down the king of museums, with more than 40 of them. 💁♂️ It's also ranked among the ten most livable cities in the world. 🌍
Basel stretches across both banks of the Rhine. The first bridge (on the site of today's Middle Bridge) was built back in 1225 and for centuries remained the only permanent bridge over the Rhine between Constance and the sea. 🌊
There's so much more to say about Basel. 🤣 I'll just add this: it's a wonderfully, wonderfully beautiful and colorful city. 🙆♂️
