From the very first steps on the trail, I could feel Rila revealing its true beauty – crystal-clear air, majestic rocks, and views that grow more breathtaking with every step. The climb isn't the easiest, but every drop of sweat is worth it. 💧
At 2,729 meters above sea level, a feeling awaits you that's hard to put into words. It's only when you stand at the top that you understand why so many people keep coming back again and again. The immense beauty of Rila unfolds before you, and all the effort suddenly feels far behind.
Malyovitsa isn't just a peak – it carries history and spirit. According to legend, its name is linked to Malyo Voyvoda, a brave fighter who left his mark on Bulgarian folklore. That makes the place even more special and inspiring. 💁♂️
As I made my way back down, I couldn't help but think how lucky I am that Bulgaria has places like this. The mountain always reminds us how small we are before nature, but also how great we can become when we refuse to give up.
