When I first heard the name Sopot, I immediately thought of the Bulgarian town. It turns out, though, that there's another Sopot โ a well-known seaside resort in Poland, sitting right on the Baltic coast, just a stone's throw from Gdaลsk. Getting there is a breeze โ about a 20-minute train ride, and the journey was quick and pleasant.๐
From the moment I arrived, I understood why this place is so popular. I strolled along the famous pedestrian street, Monte Cassino Street โ cafรฉ after cafรฉ, restaurant after restaurant, shop after shop, all buzzing with life, tourists, and street musicians at every turn.๐ฎ
What impressed me most was the long wooden pier stretching out into the Baltic Sea. From there, the view of the beach and the sea is simply stunning.โ๏ธ I lingered for a while, just soaking it all in โ the calm, the fresh sea air, and the beautiful scenery.๐โโ๏ธ
The beach in Sopot won me over too โ wide, clean, and beautifully maintained. Even though the Baltic Sea is known for its cooler waters, here it truly feels like a genuine summer getaway. A beautiful, cozy spot, brimming with life.๐ซก
