We continued on to the next beautiful stop on our route – the Sopoćani Monastery, tucked away not far from Novi Pazar, near the springs of the Raška River. ⛪️ The moment I stepped inside, I knew this wasn't a place to rush through – it's one of those places where your whole body instinctively slows down.
Sopoćani is part of the Stari Ras UNESCO World Heritage complex. 🙆♂️ I walked into the Church of the Holy Trinity and lingered there without any hurry at all. The 13th- and 14th-century frescoes don't just decorate the space – they fill it with meaning.
I didn't speak, I didn't rush, I simply took it all in. ✝️🙏 My advice: give yourself more time than you think you'll need. You'll want it.
