I'm not going to open this post by telling you that Raysko Praskalo is the highest waterfall in the Balkans, because that kind of fact sounds like a cliché — and this place is anything but. 🤭
The trail up here isn't measured in numbers, but in steps. And the higher I climbed, the clearer it became why it carries the name it does. 🙆♂️
And then I saw it — Raysko Praskalo. The highest permanent waterfall in Bulgaria, cascading down the rocks like a thin white thread. You just stand there, watching, and somehow forget that your legs were trying to negotiate with you just minutes before. 🤷♂️
And the way back down is that moment when the mountain quietly tells you, "Well, that was nice, wasn't it?" 🤭 Heavenly. ❤️✨️
