Definitely a fantastic place — clean, well-kept public spaces, great views, delicious food, and smiling people.👌 The mix of old and new architecture is one of the city's defining features, and the best way to experience it is on foot.🚶♂️ You'll also find a nice variety of museums, cafés, and nightclubs.
The NEWBORN monument is one of the most popular tourist stops. The sculpture symbolizes the birth of the new Kosovan nation and was unveiled on February 17, 2008 — the day Kosovo declared its independence from Serbia.
The Old Town is another must-see spot. It's close to many of the city's other landmarks and is a great place to dig deeper into the city's history.👈 Nearby you'll also find the National Library of Kosovo — a truly impressive building with a diverse collection of books.📚
And finally, the Old Bazaar, if you want a taste of local life.🤌 It's the perfect spot to pick up some local delicacies and head home with a bag heavier than you expected.👌
