What a fairy-tale little village! π πΆ β It was built back in 1979 as a film set, when Walt Disney and Paramount Pictures teamed up to make a live-action movie about Popeye the Sailor, starring Robin Williams in the lead role. π½οΈπ¬
The whole place is made up of 19 colorful wooden buildings in retro style, just a few kilometers from the village of MellieΔ§a. π A little crooked, a little tilted β exactly like in the cartoon.
I spent almost an entire day there, completely lost in the fairy-tale world of Popeye the Sailor. π€·ββοΈ π€³ Any regrets? Not a single one.
