Plzeň – the city where beer's history comes to life! 🍺 And honestly, who am I to resist the chance to try real Pilsner right where it all began? 🍻
From the moment I arrived, the city won me over – beautiful architecture, well-kept buildings, and charming little streets that lead you straight to its heart, the central square. 🤗 Colorful, welcoming, and with that cozy vibe that makes you want to stay just one more day. 🙆♂️
My eyes feasted on tulips and greenery in the parks around the center. 🌷🌿🌼 The most striking building is the imposing Gothic cathedral ⛪, and right nearby stand the modern golden fountains – a contrast that somehow works like magic.
If you have more time, be sure to check out the great synagogue too – the third largest in the world – as well as Underground Pilsen, the old passageways beneath the city. 👌 A tip from me: save the underground for the afternoon, once it gets hot outside.
