It turns out Bacho Kiro is Bulgaria's first developed show cave – dating all the way back to 1937. And you can tell: everything is set up so you can fully immerse yourself in the underground world instead of worrying about where to step.
The labyrinth of galleries and side passages is no joke – a full 3600 meters, packed with formations that nature has been sculpting for thousands of years. 😯 I made my way through narrow corridors, then the chambers would open up, with the lighting highlighting every curve and every drop. 👌
A tip from me: wear shoes with good grip and bring a jacket, it's cool and damp inside. And most importantly – places like this aren't meant to be rushed. 🤌
