Here I lost myself in the picturesque white alleyways — honestly, I wasn't even trying to find my way. And just then, seemingly out of nowhere, the majestic Santa Maria Assunta Cathedral appeared before me with its impressive rose window. ⛪
Then came the reward for all those climbed steps: a stunning view over the olive groves and the sea in the distance. I stood there gazing for quite a bit longer than I'd planned. 🙆♂️
Afterwards, I strolled through the lively Piazza della Libertà — the pulsing heart of the town. 😉 A charming spot where time seems to have stopped.💁♂️
I feel so enriched by this intense day, full of beauty, tradition, and the authentic charm of beloved Puglia. 🤷👌
A small tip: wear comfortable shoes — the old town is all slopes and steps.
