Now let me tell you a bit about the city and the time I spent there. 🙋♂️ Nottingham is located in the East Midlands of England and is one of the larger cities in the region — with a population just over 300,000.
There are two big universities here — Nottingham University and Nottingham Trent University. The latter takes its name from the River Trent, which flows through the city. 🏞️ It's lovely to feel that student energy out on the streets.
In the center, on Old Market Square, stands the Council House. Guarding either side of the main entrance are lion statues — it's hard to walk by without giving them a glance. 👈
And of course, I couldn't leave without snapping a photo 📸 to remember Nottingham's most famous character — Robin Hood (well, his statue anyway 🤣). It was definitely fascinating getting to know this English city. 🤗 Until next time, Nottingham!!! 👋
