Hello, friends! 👋 It's me again... 🤭🤣
Ah, what a wonderful Saturday it was today! 🙆♂️ When my phone alarm went off at 4:50, I was in a deep sleep and, still half-dreaming, wondered why it was ringing and where on earth I needed to go. 🤣 Then it hit me in an instant 😉 — I was heading to a truly beautiful riverside town. 👌 I got up right away, and with a smile on my face. 😁 Nothing motivates me quite like the thought of being on the road. 🤭
Henley-on-Thames is just about an hour away from London by train. 🚄 Just before reaching the town itself, I had to switch to another train that would take me to the final stop. A tip from me: check your connection ahead of time, so you don't end up wandering the platform half-asleep like I did. 😅
The town is known for its rowing heritage, gorgeous riverside walks, and cosy pubs. 🍻🛶 Strolling around here feels wonderful 🚶♂️ — I got to soak in the stunning nature along the Thames. 🏞️👌 I wanted to stay forever and just enjoy the beautiful, peaceful views. 🤷♂️
