Right from the entrance, you can't help but notice the striking contrast between the small, humble house and the monumental museum building that was later erected around it. It's as if someone decided to place a modest village home under a glass dome and declare it a shrine.
The exhibition traces his life – from his childhood years in Gori to his rise to the head of the Soviet Union. Inside, you can see personal belongings, documents, photographs, and gifts he received over the years. The atmosphere is peculiar – you can feel both the historical weight of the era and the many conflicting perspectives on the man himself.
