The monastery lies just outside Dryanovo, tucked away among the rocks – one of those places where you first stop talking, and then stop rushing. 🙆♂️
As I wandered around, I found myself recalling its history: founded back in the 13th century, destroyed and rebuilt time and again, yet always keeping its spirit intact. What struck me most was its role during the April Uprising, when fierce battles were fought right here. Standing in that silence, I tried to picture how this peaceful place was once the scene of such heroism and sacrifice.
I stopped in front of the ossuary monument and lingered there for a while. There was something deeply moving about it – a sense of history that must never be forgotten. ✝️🙏
When I left, I felt like I hadn't just visited a monastery. I had touched a piece of the past that still lingers in the silence of this place today. ⛪️
