Hello, it's me again! 🤭 Today I took on another destination near Bari 👌 — 💚🤍❤️ BARLETTA 💚🤍❤️. It's just an hour away by train 🚄, making it perfect for a day trip.
For me this was a brand new, unexplored destination — because Matera and Alberobello we all already know about 😉. And that's exactly why Barletta left me speechless 🙆♂️.
The town boasts two large sandy beaches, a long seaside promenade, a truly charming old town, and a handful of fascinating landmarks 👌. My sightseeing route covered three main highlights: Castello Svevo, Basilica Cattedrale Santa Maria Maggiore, and the Colossus of Barletta.
In other words, Barletta is a brilliant blend of beaches and historic atmosphere 🤗. And once again, I'm convinced — I don't think there's a single place in Italy that isn't worth visiting... 😉
