We parked and from there had about a hundred meters left to walk to Edro III. π’ The site is completely free to visit, so the only thing you'll be spending is a bit of walking and some dust on your shoes. π
Now for a little backstory, so it's clear how a ship ends up stranded on dry land. π Back in 2011, the "Edro III" set sail from the port of Limassol bound for the Greek island of Rhodes, loaded with cargo. π¦ Shortly after, it ran into stormy seas and struck a rock just 15 km from Paphos. Left unable to maneuver, the ship was swept ashore β and it's been sitting there ever since. π
Besides the rusty giant, we also enjoyed the view of the natural sea caves nearby. πββοΈπ
