We parked and from there had about a hundred meters left to walk to Edro III. 🚒 The site is completely free to visit, so the only thing you'll be spending is a bit of walking and some dust on your shoes. πŸ‘

Now for a little backstory, so it's clear how a ship ends up stranded on dry land. πŸ‘Š Back in 2011, the "Edro III" set sail from the port of Limassol bound for the Greek island of Rhodes, loaded with cargo. πŸ“¦ Shortly after, it ran into stormy seas and struck a rock just 15 km from Paphos. Left unable to maneuver, the ship was swept ashore β€” and it's been sitting there ever since. 🌊

Besides the rusty giant, we also enjoyed the view of the natural sea caves nearby. πŸ™†β€β™‚οΈπŸ‘Œ
