Chisinau — the capital of Moldova! 👊 Founded in the early 15th century by the Moldovan prince Stephen II, the city actually has far more history behind it than the average European tourist would ever suspect.
During my tour I checked out all the most iconic sights and did my proper sightseeing homework. 👌 Overall, the city has kept much of its socialist-era look — buildings, squares and an atmosphere that take you back several decades in time. 🤷♂️
Maybe that's exactly why Chisinau is one of the least visited destinations in Europe. My take, though, is different: Moldova is an appealing country and well worth giving a chance. 🤷♂️
