In this post I'll take you on a real adventure through beautiful Budapest — for me, one of the most beautiful cities in Europe. 🤗
Interestingly, the city is a relatively "young" name: it was created in 1873 with the unification of three cities — Buda, Óbuda, and Pest, situated on both sides of the Danube River. 💦 That's why you still get the feeling of walking through several different cities at once — hills and calm on one side, noise, cafés, and life on the other.
And Budapest's most famous trademark is its thermal baths, thanks to the mineral-rich waters. 👌 My advice: set aside at least half a day for a bath — after a full day of sightseeing, your feet will thank you.
In a word: an incredibly appealing tourist destination that you fall in love with from the very first stroll along the Danube. 🤳
