Amsterdam simply has its own set of rules, and the main one is that everyone has the right to be themselves, as long as they don't get in anyone else's way. Well, that might not fully apply to cyclists — I've never seen so many bike enthusiasts anywhere else, and ones who couldn't care less about the rules, at that. 🚲🤨🚲🚲🚲 A tip from me: before you step onto the road, look out for bikes first, then cars. 😅
Aside from that, though, the Dutch are always smiling and friendly. 👌 And Amsterdam itself is stunning — with its countless bridges and canals, gorgeous architecture, and crooked 17th-century brick houses. 😯
Whatever you do, don't skip the Van Gogh Museum. 🎨🖼️ It holds over 220 of his paintings, 500 drawings, 800 letters, and plenty more of his belongings. 👍
So, that's Amsterdam for you — a city we can safely sum up as the city of freedom... 🤷♂️ What a wonderful memory!!! 🙆♂️
